Responsible for the safe operation and navigation of the vvessel, ensuring it is operated to the highest possible standard and in line with regulatory legislation. Line management responsibility for all the crew on board.

Salary Range
£35,000 - £50,000

Experience needed
MCA Boatmasters License and relevant endorsements to operate a vessel on the tidal Thames.

Ability to supervise team of people and ability to communicate to a team. Practical minded, excellent customer service, interest in health and safety and adhering to the rules, interest in the river and the environment, flexible, quick decision maker.

Responsibilities
To act as second in command and assist the captain in the safe operation and navigation of the vessel.

Experience needed
Previous relevant experience working on board a passenger or commercial vessel.

To assist the Captain and Mate with the safe operation of the vessel. Responsible to securing the vessel at relevant births and maintaining the cleanliness of the vessel.
