Full Description

The finance team are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to review and process of all AP documents and run Payment Runs for all the relevant ledgers.
You’ll also be responsible for checking and processing employee expenses and running Payment Runs for these expenses weekly.
You’ll make sure all weekly and monthly deadlines are met and investigate, post and clear all outstanding bank items for all Bank Accounts.
You’ll reconcile supplier statements and follow through on any requests such as copy invoices and maintain and support the PO system.
This is a great role for someone with experience working in a similar Account Payable role.
You’ll have fast and accurate data entry skills and be able to work to tight deadline in a busy fast-paced environment.
You’ll also be a clear and concise communicator who can build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
With the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet deadlines and exceed expectations; you’ll be a team player with a can-do attitude and a good working knowledge of Office 365.
We’ll give you all the support, development and training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work and the culture at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you’ll be set up for success.
Where: You’ll be based at our offices at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube. We offer flexible start and end times, remote working 1 day a week and welcome flexible working conversations.
