Finance Business Partner
- Prepare financial information for monthly meetings with department budget holders
- Carry out first stage review of variance analysis for month end reporting
- Conduct detailed analyses of financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers.
- Present findings and recommendations to support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Work with the Management accountants and business managers to manage compliance with financial process and identify transactional adjustments where necessary
- Maintain robust audit trails and records of key financial decisions
- Support with the with the completion of financial models for the Business Case Process and provide support to the project costs
- Support in providing financial information or data gathering for business cases.
- Support the in the review of financial information in business cases before sign off
- Finance lead on ad hoc projects
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and presentations to support business decisions
- Act as a liaison between the finance team and other business functions, fostering effective communication and understanding.
- Partner with department heads to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure financial considerations are integrated into decision-making processes.
- Communicate complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner to non-financial stakeholders.
- Work with the Accounting and Control Team and Financial Reporting team to provide/prepare evidence for year-end audit queries
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA).
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, demonstrating strategic thinking and collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across different functions.
- Advanced MS Excel
- Knowledge of industry best practices and a proactive approach to staying up-to-date of financial trends.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
- Experience using Jet Reports and Business Central
