We’re looking for a Fleet Coordinator to support the Fleet Control Manager and Duty Fleet Controllers in directing, optimising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the fleet, focusing on service delivery and enhancing the customers experience, whilst ensuring service disruptions are minimised at all times.

You’ll provide real time information to passengers, including, but not limited to, service disruption messages on social media and to other stakeholders e.g., Twitter and email service alerts.

You’ll be responsible for sending service alert emails to internal stakeholders and operational team members, relating to vessel usage, crew availability, unallocated shifts, and daily running order amendments; whilst ensuring all vessels are adequately staffed day to day, in line with operational requirements, liaising with the Business Scheduling Executive to ensure correct crewing as required.

You’ll also be responsible for cross-checking daily running orders against rota patterns, making sure scheduled crews are trained to work on their assigned boats.

We’re looking for someone with relevant experience in a similar role, in a fast-paced transport environment.

You must be highly organised; resilient and able to deal with a varied workload under pressure.

You’ll have clear and concise communication skills and be able to build good working relationships with a variety of departments across the business.

With a good proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); you’ll be solutions focused with a positive “can do” attitude and a team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment.

We’ll give you all the training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you will be set up for success.

This is a full-time role, working 12 hours shifts 07:00-19:00 on a 3 on 3 off pattern

Where: You’ll work from our Head office at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube.
