Job Profile
We are looking for a Pier Maintenance Tradesperson to undertake the day to day maintenance and servicing of all Thames Clippers piers, passenger boarding gangways and shore-side structures. You’ll be reporting to the Head of Safety, so you’ll need a good understanding of Health and Safety procedures and be able to adhere to regulations; and whilst this role is standalone, the Safety team are there to assist you when needed.

We’re looking for someone with all-round maintenance experience and skills in plumbing, electrics and woodwork; as you’ll be inspecting and maintaining all mechanical and electrical systems of Thames Clippers Piers and ensuring all piers and gangways are audited and defect repairs are logged and reported.

You might have several jobs on the go at any one time, so you will need to be organised and able to prioritise your work. And, you won’t mind working outdoors or being on your feet all day. This job can be busy and demanding, so you need to be able to stay positive and maintain high standards throughout the day.

We’ll give you all the training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you will be set up for success.

Where
Your base will be Trinity Buoy Wharf Pier, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat from North Greenwich tube; but you will be expected to travel to the other piers we manage along the river.
